100 Questions to Ask Before Investing
04/18/2023

In our role as advisors, we are often asked about additional business ventures and opportunities that our clients are considering. A recent article on The Diff website, Byrne Hobart provided a “100-Question Diligence Checklist” to help investors do their due diligence in reviewing the viability of potential investments.
The questions are divided into several specific topics including Economics, Incentives, Competitors, Internals, External and Internal Cash, Valuation, and others. It is a broad survey that helps any type of investor, large or small, be certain they are gleaning the most valuable information available before making an investment decision.

Though few would ask every question for every investment opportunity, the variety of questions allows us to recommend the most appropriate questions for the specific enterprise being considered.
