Why I Will Attend the ASAC Annual Conference

A good friend of mine had urged me to join ASAC for several years before I finally took the initiative to join and to attend the annual conference. During the first few hours of the conference, I realized the foolishness of my procrastination.
A good friend of mine had urged me to join ASAC for several years before I finally took the initiative to join and to attend the annual conference. During the first few hours of the conference, I realized the foolishness of my procrastination.
I haven’t missed a conference since that time, and I won’t miss this one either. Here are three key reasons why I’ll be in Oklahoma City, OK from October 23rd through the 25th:
1. Great Networking: The years of consulting experience represented in the participants provides opportunities to learn from the best minds in all of agriculture. They willingly share their expertise and wisdom. No question is too basic, nor too complicated, for them to provide thoughtful guidance.
2. Timely Topics and Top Shelf Speakers: There are topics on Best Practices for Today’s Ag Consultants, Professional Ethics, Technology in Ag Consulting, Macroeconomics, National Ag Law and Business Planning. The speakers are familiar to ag professionals and bring their “A-Game” to this conference.
3. Camaraderie and Connections: I can’t provide all the advice my clients request and it’s great to know other professionals on a first-name basis who can help me help my clients, or step in and address a major issue.
