New Board Elected at ASAC Conference

A new roster of professionals took over the reins of the American Society of Agricultural Consultants (ASAC) at the annual conference In Fresno, Calif., Nov. 5 – 7, with Keith Dickinson, CAC, Farm Credit East, Bridgeton, N.J., being elected the president.
 
Dickinson succeeds Pete Weisenberger, Weisenberger Agricultural Services, LLC, Tyler, Tex., who now becomes the immediate past president of the organization. Coming up in the chairs are President-Elect Dave Mielnicki, Newmark Valuation and Advisory, Clarkston, Mich.; and Vice President/Secretary Abigail Majerus, Snowy Mountain Development Corporation, Lewistown, Mont. She is newly elected to the leadership team while the others are in rotation for service. Russell Morgan, CAC, Morgan Ag Consulting Services, Portland, Tenn., continues as CFO of the group.
 
Newly elected directors to serve two-year terms are Scott Mickey, Clemson University, Columbia, S.C., for the Southern Region; and Ethan Robertson, CAC, Farm Credit East, Auburn, Maine, for the Eastern Region.
 
Continuing directors for a final term are Don Tyler, Tyler & Associates, Clarks Hill, Ind., in the Northern Region; and Ron Rabou, Rabou Farms, Inc., Albin, Wyo., for the Western Region.
 
The group’s 2024 annual meeting is scheduled to be held in Ft. Myers, Fla., November 3 through 5.
