Wow! What a Conference!
10/01/2021

The 2021 ASAC Annual Conference is less than fifty days away, and we are excited to be holding an “in-person” event in Music City (Nashville, TN). As Chairman of the Meeting Planning Committee, I wanted to thank the following committee members for their hard work in planning the annual conference: Pete Weisenberger; Bill Zweigbaum, CAC; Ethan Robertson; Russell Morgan, CAC; Joanna Lidback, CAC; Keith Dickinson, Gregg McConnell, John Jackson, and Ron Rabou.  It has been my honor to work with these individuals and the conference schedule is second to none this year.
The conference theme is “Catch the Rhythm in Music City” and will be held from November 7th – 10th at the Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Nashville. We selected a location that will put attendees in the heart of the action, with numerous restaurants and live music venues within walking distance.  The Hilton Garden Inn offers spacious rooms and amenities to ensure an enjoyable and relaxing time.
See link www.hilton.com/en/hotels/bnaccgi-hilton-garden-inn-nashville-downtown-convention-center for additional information.

The conference agenda features world-renowned animal behaviorist, author, and science professor Dr. Temple Grandin. Michelle Miller aka “The Farm Babe” will also be giving her take on modern agriculture.  Michelle is an internationally recognized speaker, writer, and agricultural advocate. Other topics will include carbon markets, trade outlook, market trends, land values, Leading Harvest, and a panel discussion on family transition consulting to be facilitated by Ron Rabou. An agricultural tour is also slated for the afternoon of Tuesday November 9th.  We plan to explore Tennessee agriculture at the Ellington Agricultural Center followed facility tours including the Tennessee Agricultural Museum. Afterwards learn more about the pathway of Tennessee grains bound for area distilleries and tasting exercises at two sites.

Conference registration is now open and spots are filling up fast. We are offering early registration through mid-October with reduced costs. Additional conference and registration information can be found at https://agconsultants.org/annual_conference.php. I look forward to seeing everyone in November!
